A Day at Escot

For all lovers of Nature, Escot is a totally new gardens experience. It is uniquely attractive to garden enthusiasts and families alike. Here are champion trees and elegant shrubs amidst woodland paths, picnic spots and forest playgrounds. As the historian Polwhele said back in the eighteenth century:

‘‘Perhaps there are no plantations in Devonshire so strong and luxuriant as those at Escot.’’

Against the backdrop of this beautiful corner of East Devon, visitors can solve the world class maze, letterbox around the estate (a kind of nature-based treasure hunt), watch the wildlife (including otters, birds of prey, wild boar and red squirrels), discover the Play Barn and the exciting forest play areas (including Forest Leap, a unique woodland drop slide), marvel at our collection of tropical fish in the Aquatic Centre and enjoy our home cooked local food and delicious cream teas.

CAMP WILD

This is Escot Park's very own summer camp. Based in our brand new yurt village, children will explore the great outdoors within a safe, adventure-filled environment. Activities will be led by qualified and professional staff on the 1100 acre Escot Park estate and off site on the Devon coast. Residential and Day Camps are available in July and August.

Residential camp for 8 to 12 year olds

2, 3 and 5 night stays available from July 12th - Aug 28th

Day camp for 6 and 7 year olds, M-F from July 12th - Aug 28th

Ofsted registered and Computer Share Services vouchers accepted

Just imagine life at Camp Wild. Children live in a yurt village, enjoy off site trips which focus on the Devon coast and countryside, play in Escot's award winning forest playground, and discover the carefully designed core activity themes incorporating animals, water, and epic outdoor exploration in a natural environment. There's sure to be a surprise around every corner.
