Access For All
Escot is an exciting environment where Nature provides an enjoyable challenge for everyone. Consistent with this ‘natural' approach, we do our best to provide access for all.
Some of the wilderness paths are left in their original state and these are not suitable for wheelchairs. Paths marked by a blue dotted line are wheelchair friendly.
The maze has one special route in and out which avoids the bridges: please ask at the entrance kiosk for a key. Disabled toilets are located in the Coach House Restaurant and adjacent to the car park.
The Education Ranger provides special programmes for group visits for all abilities. If you think we can help you further with access to Escot, please do ask for assistance at the kiosk or in the restaurant.
A wheelchair is available for those visitors who struggle to walk too far - please enquire at the entrance kiosk.
We can also supply magnifying trays (£5 deposit required) for those visitors that have trouble reading maps and small print. Available in the Entrance Kiosk, Aquatic Centre and Coach House Restaurant.
