Admission Prices and Opening Times

Escot is open daily from 10 am.

We are only closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

The Park closes at 5pm in the Winter (1 October to 31 March) and 6pm in the Summer (1 April to 30 September). The Play Barn closes every day during the winter at 4.45pm and every day during the summer at 5.45pm.

Escot is a dog friendly attraction but we do ask our visitors to ensure that they are kept on their leads at all times. Dogs on leads are charged 50p.

Access to the Wetlands, Red Squirrel Walk Through Enclosure, Seahorse Trust and the Coach House Restaurant is free.

Escot is perfect for groups.  We have easy access off the A30; ample and convenient coach parking with good drop off points; driver benefits (please call for details); a range of free entry options including the Aquatic Centre, the Coach House Restaurant and the Farm Shop; generous group discounts and attractive ‘visit + meal' deals; and a range of visit routes to cater for all tastes and abilities. Escot Camp Wild delivers exciting nature based outdoor 2, 3 and 5 night residential programmes for 7-12 year olds and day programmes for 6-12 year olds.

Accommodation is based at yurt village where children sleep in bunk beds in girl and boy sleeping pods, eat meals with friends and enjoy a huge variety of activities which connect children to wildlife, nature and outdoor play.

Some of the activities include: The discovery of Devon's Jurassic coast world heritage site through a variety of unique experiences including fossil hunting, rock pooling and beach games.

Children will meet and feed Escot's otters, play water games, go pond and stream dipping, and hike amongst Escot's 1100 acres of woodland and parkland, they will experience the wonders of wildlife by helping to feed Escot's wild boar, watch birds of prey displays, and learn exciting bush craft skills including fire lighting, shelter building and swamp walking.

Team challenges, art projects, music and games will make up the remainder of the Camp Wild experiences along with estate night hikes, skits and roaring campfires. And of course there are always Escot's award winning adventure gardens to explore, complete with forest drop slide, Otter and wild boar feeding, the maze, an Escot scavenger hunt, team challenges, fossil hunting on the Jurassic coast, birds of prey displays, rock pooling in Lyme Regis, art projects, fire making, pond dipping, a swamp walk, river play and a Friday night campfire / barbeque.
