Tamsin Green

Tamsin grew up in rural Suffolk, and studied in Sheffield, Reading and Lund, Sweden. Graduating with BA Archaeology she worked in Oxford, York and Exeter both in the field, creating site drawings, and in the office, producing graphics for publication. Recently she has also written a public booklet, on the Princesshay excavations, Exeter.

I use discarded magazines to create vibrant colourful collages on canvas and board. I work mainly from photographs taken in the landscape, and using montage and digital enhancement create an image. I then collage this onto canvas or board. I find collage using magazines fascinating and am totally absorbed by the diversity of colours and textures they contain.

I am passionate about recycling and want to demonstrate to a wider audience how everyday waste items can be transformed into unique works of art. My inspiration comes from a desire to protect our beautiful countryside, coastline and historic landscape.

If you are interested in my work, have any questions or would like to commission a picture please contact me at devonrecycledcrafts@hotmail.com I can collage almost any photograph and try to remain as affordable as possible. My webpage is  www.devonartistnetwork.co.uk/TamsinGreen

Alison Phelps-Loman LRPS

Since buying my first camera at the age of eleven with money from a paper round, I have been passionate about photography. I am a Devon based photographer and a Licentiate member of the Royal Photographic Society.

Although my work ranges from babies and pets to cards and calendars, I find my main subjects are the natural world and its wildlife. To try and capture within a special moment the essence of something, be it a dragonfly or a horse is both my inspiration and aspiration.

More of my work can be seen on my website: www.ap-lphotography.co.uk
