Escot’s Christmas Treats Weekend
26 November to 27 November 2011
Free entry into the gardens for the whole weekend!
Santa stops by for a visit! Santa's visit will start at 1pm in the Coach House Restaurant's courtyard, meeting all the children who can then follow him on his route around Escot (helping along the way with his heavy bag, crammed full of sweets and chocolates).
The Saxons even get involved! The Saxon Village will have various activities for families to get involved in, including coin making and forging.
The Escot Yurt Village will be transformed into a hive of Christmas activity with face painting by Georgina Watson, Christmas biscuit decorating, stalls and much more! The yurt village will be open from 11am until 3.30pm on both days. All with Christmas music playing in the background and the wood burner keeping everyone cosy!
There will be a special wild boar feeding on Saturday 26th November, lead by Escot Camp Wild's Manager, Vic, who will guide you to the enclosure for a fun packed talk whilst all the boar enjoy tucking in to some food! Meet at the yurt village.
Take part in sweet pea planting with the Harvest Hub in the Walled Garden! Visitors will be able to make their own pots out of newspaper, plant some seeds to take home to grow and there will be a 'Guess the Seed' Competition!
Of course, the otters are in for a treat of their own at the otter feeding at 3pm!
Take advantage of the yummy specials (or a glass of mulled wine) in the Coach House Restaurant and start your Christmas shopping with discounts in the Gift Shop.
Great gift packages are available! Gift Vouchers can be purchased in the kiosk for Multipass Memberships and Animal Sponsorships!
Join us for what is sure to be a fun filled weekend... FOR FREE!
