Group Visitors to Escot
ESCOT GARDENS - A WINNING FORMULA FIT FOR GROUPS
Simply take 1100 acres of stunning East Devon, mix with years of hard work from dedicated estate staff, stir in a magic formula for nature-based recreation and the result is the award of the 2009/10 South West Tourism Small Visitor Attraction of the Year Award to Escot, the natural place.
"We're obviously delighted to have been granted this award" said John-Michael Kennaway, Escot's owner. "To have our efforts acknowledged by the judges gives us great confidence for the future and we're especially pleased for our staff who have worked so hard to achieve this."
A key reason why Escot is an award winning attraction is our understanding of what it takes to achieve a successful group visit. We appreciate that organisers need a good price, good food, a ‘contented driver' deal, and, above all, confidence that the day will be an enjoyable experience for their particular membership.
So we urge all group organisers to take full advantage of the services of our dedicated Groups Liaison staff member Lisa Benton. She can offer a range of different meal packages and gardens experiences that will give you the confidence you need before you make a booking.
Our food is all home-cooked and served in our beautiful Coach House Restaurant. Visitor activities can include a gentle wander though our award winning gardens, tackling our world class maze, watching the birds of prey display during the summer and the otter feeding, and even trying ‘Letterboxing for Beginners'!
Just call Lisa on 01404 822 188 or email escot@escot-devon.co.uk You won't be disappointed. After all, as the historian Polwhele said: "Perhaps there are no plantations in Devonshire so strong and luxuriant as those at Escot".
