Mike Hughes
Mike has worked as an illustrator for the last 10 years specialising in natural history, he has worked for many conservation and wildlife organisations throughout the UK.
His client list includes the Wildlife Trusts of Avon, Devon and Lancashire, INCA, Hobby Publications, BTO, Dartmoor Otter Sanctuary, BTCV, Sid Vale Association, East Devon Countryside Service, Devon Water Vole Recovery Project, Axe Estuary Wetland Project, Mere Sands Wood Nature Reserve plus many councils and local authorities.
More recently Mike has concentrated on his wildlife art, this work is painted on a much larger scale with light and shadow being as much a feature as the wildlife.
In 2010 Mike will be exhibiting at the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art, Marwell Zoo Wildlife Art Society Exhibition and at the British Bird Fair.
