Peter Rabbit knows very well that he is not to go into Mr McGregor's garden; especially as it was there that his father met his untimely end and was put into a pie!
But Peter cannot resist, and after several nasty scrapes Peter finally escapes home to a severe telling-off from his mother and early to bed. In the second tale, the second half of our show, Peter and Benjamin go back to the garden to recover Peter's lost clothes.
After several scrapes Benjamin's father rescues the rabbits from a cat and they escape with the clothes, leaving Mr McGregor to wonder what had been going on in his garden!
Using live music our production promises a magical evening for young and old alike taking them back to the tales of their childhood in a show designed to appeal to all the family.
A unique production exclusive to Quantum Theatre, perfect for an outdoor setting.
Quantum Theatre - about the company...
Quantum Theatre produces and tours original work and adaptations of the classics into theatres, schools and outdoor venues throughout the UK and Ireland.
All of our work is written (or adapted) and produced by the artistic director, Michael Whitmore who has evolved Quantum's characteristic style; pacey, humorous musical theatre accessible to all ages whether it be Michael's own plays or his adaptations of the classics such as Shakespeare and Beatrix Potter.
In recent years Quantum has staged the much-loved classic ‘Treasure Island', that bawdy Shakespearean comedy ‘Twelfth night', the fantastical family favourite ‘Alice through the Looking Glass' and the Dickens classic ‘Great Expectations'. All the shows provide a fun, dramatic and magical couple of hours for their audiences, with humour, grit and live music to delight and entertain.
