Looking for a venue for your craft fair?

Over the years, Escot House been booked as a venue for plenty of different events, from conferences and seminars, to weddings, location shoots, private parties and banquets – while the Estate grounds play host to music festivals, sporting events, team building, charity runs and more.
There’s a lot of warmth and history at Escot, which provides a picturesque location. We enjoy the chance to support local artists and craftspeople, connecting talented creators with a wider audience, creating a sense of community and celebrating handmade, quality goods.
In the past the House has provided a wonderful setting for craft fairs, including two wonderful Christmas artisan fairs which were well attended and a huge success. Local people really enjoyed the chance to look around the house, which isn’t generally open to the public.

Escot House

The available space isn’t massive, but it is incredibly warm and welcoming, providing just the right amount of history and ambiance. It provides an inspiring backdrop for makers and artisans to showcase their work.
Our three large day rooms can be set up to create an interesting array of stallholders. Previously the Kennaway Room has also offered enough space for a small workshop, giving visitors something extra to do during their time at the craft fair.
During the summer months, the stalls could easily spill out on to the terrace or patio area of the garden, giving additional space.
In the winter, each room has a working fireplace which can be used for extra warmth but particularly ambiance as needed.
The Escot catering team will provide catering requirements onsite, from teas, coffees and soft drinks to homemade cakes and pizzas.

Escot will levy a hire charge for the rooms and tables; responsibility for booking and coordinating stall holders, staffing the event and promoting it will remain with the booker. However, Escot’s marketing team will happily provide support to promote the fair in local press, via the website and on social media.

There is plenty of free parking adjacent to the house, which is easily accessible from the A30.

We would love the opportunity to host more craft fairs in the future – it would be wonderful to have a Christmas fair in 2025, so if you’re interested in organising one, please do get in touch!
