Just a few weeks ago Escot was the venue for the Prestige Awards South of England Winners event. The awards took place over two days, and winners had to book a slot (due to the Covid restrictions in place). Two of our day rooms were set up for winners to collect their awards, with a maximum of four people in each room at any one time.
We asked one of the winners about their experience of winning one of the awards.
Claire and Andy Taylor of Taylormade Rehabilitation and Performance, based just down the road in Fenny Bridges, won the Corporate Livewire award for Health and Wellbeing Specialists of the Year
Taylormade provides complete health and wellbeing service encouraging their local community to focus on not just physical health, but their mental health too.
Andy, a former professional footballer for Manchester United and Exeter City, and Claire, who has followed a career as a sports rehabilitator for professional athletes changed the business model during the pandemic. Like other businesses they had to work out how to support clients online and remotely.
The Corporate Livewire South England Prestige Awards recognise small and medium-sized businesses that have proven to be the best in their market over the past 12 months. Judges consider whether the individual or business is providing the best product/ service in their particular sector or industry, this is primarily determined by the quality, efficiency and delivery of the product/service provided. Decisions are made based on service excellence, industry recognition, employee satisfaction, marketing & branding, ethical practice and of course customer feedback.
Claire says “The award is amazing recognition of how hard we’ve worked after a life-changing year. We were delighted when we found out that the award giving day was being held at Escot House just a mile down the road from us. It is such a beautiful setting, which we were able to take full advantage of whilst enjoying a drink in the wonderful gardens overlooking the lake.”
Of particular relevance to many Escot House clients, is Taylormade’s new Wedding Health & Wellbeing Package, which Andy and Claire launched after winning the award.
“We have put together our key services which can be built bespoke to the desire of the clients. We have packages designed to assist the bride and groom to be the best version of themselves on their big day, working together as a couple. We also have packages for larger groups. Ideal for the bridal or groom party, allowing them to build excitement and momentum for the big day. They don’t even have to be local to join in the sessions. One thing the pandemic has encouraged is bringing people closer through virtual channels. So fitness coaching, Pilates classes and nutritional coaching can all be carried out both at our facility or online. some info on the packages.”
