Face to face meetings at Escot – how we can help you reconnect
Like all other conference venues, we have worked hard to make sense of various announcements, including the recent ‘rule of 6’.
But now it’s official, we can welcome up to 30 people for a business meeting, so we are happy to be opening Escot House up once again.
Having completed the relevant Risk Assessment and implemented the required safety measures, Escot is a Covid Secure venue.
We are now looking forward to welcoming organisations back to the house giving you the chance for face to face meetings. Despite the benefits of Zoom and Teams, we believe it is really important for people to interact in the ‘real world’.
We’ve thought long and hard about the way forward.
We believe that the safest maximum number is 28 delegates, with 2 members of staff for meet and greet and to prepare and serve drinks and meals.
Our largest room, the White Room, can host 12 people with 2m social distancing, or 24 with 1m distancing – this is your decision. Please note, distancing is to the front and back of each delegate.
The Library adjoins the White Room with a large opening between, so it is possible to have two groups with one facilitator. Alternatively, you can run two separate meetings with the door closed.
Meals will be served plated, with no buffets available. We can also provide individual picnic boxes which can be served indoors or outdoors if the weather permits.
Now for the even more exciting news!
Our onsite activity partner Devon Country Pursuits has been busy over the summer providing activities to local people and tourists. So they put Covid Secure measures in at an early stage, and are very familiar with providing safe activities. Check out the activities available HERE
This means we are able to offer a teambuilding option, combining a session in the house with some fun activities to provide motivation and collaboration – or simply dissipate any tensions!
