Well it’s only June and here we are talking about Christmas. But this is for those of you who prefer to forward plan as far as your running events go.
For the second year running, The Jolly Runnings Christmas Cracker, sponsored by Red Rock Brewery, is taking place at Escot. It’s on Saturday 21st December at 11am.
Last year’s run included a big surprise, which will be included again this year, although no longer a surprise. It’s a 30 meter waterslide which went down a storm.
The festive trail race is 7.5 generous miles set in the grounds of Escot. The route offers a variety of trails, mud, woodland tracks, paths, streams, quaint bridges, fields and water crossings. You may even be lucky enough to see a few deer on your run.
Fancy dress is highly encouraged (but optional). But it adds to the festive spirit of the event and the organisers will be rewarding the outfit that catches our eye.
Runners will receive a bespoke Christmas medal, a candy cane and a very special bottle of Christmas Spiced Beer produced exclusively for our event by race sponsors Red Rock Brewery. These bottles will not be available anywhere else! Red Rock Brewery will also be onsite with their pop up cash-only bar which also stocks their Christmas Gift packs.
There will also be our bespoke ‘glass twist’ prizes specially commissioned by our friends at Teign Valley Glass for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Men and Ladies.
Prices: £25 Affiliated £27 Unaffiliated
Capacity: 475 participants
Age Restriction: This event is restricted to over 16 year olds.
Entry will close on Wednesday 18th December at 9pm unless already sold out.
