Escot House presents a superb location opportunity for filming and photography and we’ve been pleased to provide location services over the years.
In 2018 we were thrilled to work with the Prop Factory on a very unusual, Victorian-style shoot. And earlier this year we welcomed photographer Kathryn Anne to the house for a very different styled shoot.
Kathryn was keen to use Escot House as the backdrop for a Tuscan-inspired wedding. We supplied the location, and Kathryn supplied all the elements to make the styled shoot a success.
She and her team worked tirelessly all day to create the desired look. The stunning flowers, for example, were a combination of white and red roses, ranunculus, anemone, hellebore, jasmine, plum blossom, fern and olive foliage, which set our ‘White Room’ off beautifully.
The wedding cake design by local cake maker Claire Makes Cakes was decorated with handcrafted sugar flowers reflecting the fresh blooms and had hand-painted seed head details in edible gold.
The featured wedding gowns were by Sassi Holford; a pretty, lacy dress, ‘The Imogen’ and very feminine design, ‘The Millie’.
Part of the shoot took place outside, where Kathryn made inspired use of our Camellia ‘wall’ which was then in full bloom – it made for a stunning backdrop. Kathryn also came up with the concept for an evening dinner outside on the terrace. Blessed with glorious weather, the red and gold setting really shone out.
